The Bad Education Movie is a well-written follow up of Jack Whitehall’s TV series Bad Education. When the series comes to an end, Alfie (Jack Whitehall) decides to take his class on a trip away. He is forced to overcome some sticky obstacles along the way.
The film is similar to the series in theme and style. Directed by Elliot Hegarty, it contains countless moments of comedy that will have the audience aching with laughter. Most of the actors play very different personalities yet all have a key role in making the audience laugh. I was intrigued throughout the entire movie due to the acting and the unpredictable plot. One criticism I would give is that there is not a lot of character development in the film. I believe this is due to the TV series. Viewers of both the show and film will be familiar with many of the characters already, whereas an outsider couldn't possibly relate to them as much. This is also partly due to the film’s plotline being very heavily based around Jack Whitehall's character, Alfie Wickers.
